- Thanks for trying AnsiScreens #2!!!
-
- Some of these screens we made, and others we just kind of glommed
- onto. We don't charge for these, but if you like the idea of being
- able to find quality ANSI screens for BBS and programming use,
- compiled by someone who knows ansi AND has some taste AND will
- try to add to the collection AND won't put keyboard codes in,
- send us a couple bucks! $2? for all that work? Yeah!
-
- If you are poor like we are, go ahead and scratch the $2 idea, and
- send us you favorite ANSI screens from the BBS's you call or the
- messages you read or the programs you run! We have hundreds to go
- through, and if you sent return postage we return your disk with
- stuff on it! We ask that you send us something if you use one of
- these ansis - A disk with ANSI photos, or Two thin green ones.
- Here's a tip easily worth $2 - to screen grab an ANSI screen on a
- bbs, position yourself so that the next key you hit will result
- in the display of the picture you want to grab. Then hit your
- download key (usually page down) and select ASCII as your protocol.
- Then hit the key that causes the picture to display (usually the CR).
- When the screen has fully paused, end your download, and name that
- file. You have just captured the ANSI graphic. This is the best
- way to capture ANSI art with colors and animation intact.
-
-
- If you haven't already decided that we're nuts for thinking any-
- one would have any interest in some silly ANSI photos, call our
- BBS or send us something. We are heavy into trading shareware
- on 1.44 floppies, or Colorado Jumbo tape. Anybody who sends us
- something and return postage will get back better than he sent.
- We trade Indian-style. If you give me a gift, I will give back
- something better! Promise! (*grin*)
